PMI provides environmental drilling services with our in-house Geoprobe 7822 drill rig.  We utilize direct-push technology (DPT) and traditional sampling methods to assess soil and groundwater conditions in a variety of environments.  The combination of drilling methods along with the compact design of the Geoprobe 7822 allows installation of everything from a few DPT sample points in confined spaces up to numerous monitoring wells, recovery wells, inspection wells and soil vapor wells across large areas.

PMI has investigated and remediated hundreds of contaminated sites in Arkansas and surrounding states.  Our professional staff works closely with many different state and federal agencies to meet our clients’ needs and goals.  Investigations range from sample data review to complex urban Brownfields sites.  Soils investigations include soil sampling assessment and soil contamination delineation and mapping.  Groundwater investigations include groundwater sampling assessment, contamination plume delineation, and groundwater potentiometric modeling and mapping. 

From the basic groundwater pump and treat (hydraulic control), to Mobile Dual Phase Extraction (MDPE) technology, to surfactant flushing and in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), PMI’s remediation staff has experience with the type of technology and equipment needed for any project.  PMI has performed groundwater delineation and remediation for both Light Non Aqueous Phase Liquids (LNAPL) and Dense Non Aqueous Phase Liquids (DNAPL) contaminant sources.  PMI has performed delineation of soil and groundwater impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons, volatile organic compounds, semi volatile compounds, PCB’s, pesticides, herbicides, and metals.  PMI has also performed remediation for a low level radioactive hazardous waste landfill closure.
