Richard Davis - Principal, Construction/Field Services Manager

Environmental Sciences Coursework, University of Arkansas at Little Rock

Mr. Davis has more than 25 years of experience in handling a multitude of environmental issues ranging from all media permitting, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater remediation.  His full understanding of environmental issues was honed when he began his career in 1990 as a laboratory technician responsible for air, soil, and water sample collection and analysis.  Through his time at PMI, he progressively gained experience and responsibilities in management of site assessments, permitting, and remediation projects until becoming partner at PMI in 2008 with overall responsibility for PMI’s Specialty Construction and Field Services Division.

  • Performed construction management of environmental projects at all types of industrial and commercial facilities, both private and public ranging from small commercial, medium and large industrial, landfills, power plants, military bases and airports.
  • Managed remediation of all types of waste sites ranging from underground storage tank sites to radioactive material dump sites.  Experience includes implementation of sampling and analysis plans, quality assurance, remediation plans, demolition plans, and health and safety plans typically necessary on these projects.
  • Extensive experience in providing field services and project management within an industrial facility setting.
  • Responsible, in connection with other PMI partners, for creating, growing, and managing Shale Gas Services.  Shale Gas Services developed a process for recycling petroleum products from oil-based drilling mud and cutting in the natural gas well drilling industry.  Development of this process resulted in, among other things, a US Patent for the process which Mr. Davis shares with two other PMI partners.
