PMI inspected the embankment and spillway for a 55-acre lake to determine appropriate measures for rehabilitation.  PMI performed the Probable Maximum Flood (PMF) analysis utilizing HEC-HMS software and provided design documents for the new spillway.  The facilities EAP was reviewed during the design process to ensure dam break analyses were appropriate.  In addition, PMI designed embankment rehabilitation measures including site grading, concrete design, stabilization, tree removal, groin drains, and increasing the existing downstream slope from 2:1 to 3:1.  PMI’s field services division performed the rehabilitation/construction services.
