PMI prepared a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on a former biodiesel plant in eastern Arkansas. The Phase I recommended further investigation and PMI conducted a Phase II ESA to assess potential shallow surface and groundwater contamination. The facility entered into the DEQ Brownfields program and PMI used data from the Phase II to complete a Comprehensive Site Assessment (CSA), which evaluated soil and groundwater. PMI prepared a Site Remediation Plan and implemented the plan by removing impacted media from specific areas onsite.
