PMI routinely provides air, water and stormwater permitting services to our clients. Air permitting services are designed to assist the client in complying with complex permit application forms and navigating the lengthy permitting process. PMI specializes in preparing National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans and submitting them to the various state regulatory agencies. All of the plans are prepared, reviewed, and certified by our in-house professional engineers. Additionally, PMI offers tank integrity testing for our aboveground storage tank clients and has a licensed STI inspector on staff.

PMI engineers work closely with clients and governmental entities to design specific site investigation plans and soil/groundwater remediation systems to implement the selected treatment alternative and meet project remediation goals. Systems designed by PMI include soil vapor extraction (SVE), air sparging (AS), total fluid recovery and treatment, and dual phase extraction (DPE). PMI’s engineering staff has also planned, designed and developed various impoundment closures including ponds, pits, and solid waste management units.
