PMI performs Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) throughout Arkansas and the surrounding states. All Phase I assessments are performed in accordance with the ASTM industry guidelines and the EPA All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) standards. PMI’s Phase I ESAs provide the client with an accurate description of how current and historical issues may have adversely impacted the property and the potential for environmental concerns.

Phase II ESAs focus on areas of concern and contaminants of concern identified in the Phase I ESA.  PMI’s Phase II ESA Services consist of sampling soil, surface water, groundwater, or other media to determine if they present a specific environmental concern or hazard.  PMI provides environmental drilling services with our in-house Geoprobe 7822 drill rig.  We utilize direct-push technology (DPT) and traditional sampling methods to assess soil and groundwater conditions in a variety of environments.

All field services are performed by registered geologists, engineers or environmental scientists who are appropriately 40-hour OSHA trained and participate in PMI’s health and safety program.  PMI has performed Phase II Assessments at a wide variety of facilities including industrial and manufacturing facilities, military bases, federal and state-owned properties, gasoline service stations, bulk petroleum facilities, chemical manufacturing facilities, and electrical power plants and substations.
