Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) System
Elevated levels of total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) – gasoline range organics (GRO) were discovered at a facility in eastern Arkansas. PMI performed several rounds of assessment and a period of quarterly groundwater monitoring between October 2009 and November 2012. A total of forty-six (46) SVE wells were installed at the site to a total depth of 25 to 70 feet below ground surface (bgs) in October 2014. Based upon hydrocarbon mass removal calculations, approximately 66,821 pounds of hydrocarbons, or 11,422 equivalent gallons of gasoline, were removed through the end of January 2016.
